Millions of people are without access to clean, safe drinking water. We have seen the effects first hand in the villages we have partnered with, so we had to do something about it. To date, SERV has drilled five water wells that produce millions of gallons of clean water for villagers who used to walk 20 miles or more each day to fetch dirty, disease filled water. Water filters have also been deployed to thousands of people globally. These filters remove 99.9% of contaminants out of unsafe water that enable people to be healthy.
The remote Turkana desert region of Kenya has a tremendous need for access to clean water. Since 2011, we began strategically digging wells in villages that are centrally located within close proximity of other surrounding villages in order to serve the greatest amount of people. Our vision is to supply clean water to every village to minimize the time and effort spent on getting the water they need for their families and livestock.
