HOUSE OF HOPE

KENYA

“A Place of Happiness”

SERV InternationalSERV International never set out to open an orphanage. In 2008, our Founder Steve Kasha was taking multiple trips to Kenya and millions of meals were being distributed.

As we were continuing our mission, we crossed paths with children who had no food, no family, and no future. We saw a need that we couldn’t say no to. In 2008, House of Hope was established.

House of Hope is located in the Northwest corner of Kenya. It is now a refuge to seventy-two at-risk children, ages 3-18, who have been rescued from extreme and unbearable living conditions. The children receive a safe and healthy environment, Christian teachings, nutritional meals, education, health care, hygiene awareness, psychological support, and household management. In the words of the children, House of Hope is “a place of happiness”.

House of Hope Sponsorship

Help support the overall program for any amount a month.

SERV’s House of Hope sponsorship program allows you to directly contribute to continued health and success of the orphanage. Funds are used for building and vehicle maintenance, reserve funding for emergency expenses, and (most importantly) funding for any children not currently fully sponsored.

Support on a monthly basis or through one time gifts to help us as we continue to grow the House of Hope and bring in new children every 16-24 months.

The House of Hope offers a loving, Christian environment where 72 children receive nutritious food, clean water, clothing, shelter, education, vocational training, medical care and spiritual development.  SERV also provides a transitional program for teens aging out of the program and supports them through high school, trade school, college or support in beginning their career.

Child Sponsorship

Share in the sponsorship of a child for only $55 per month.

SERV’s House of Hope child sponsorship program allows you to build a personal relationship with a child, or children of your choice. You’ll receive news of progress, keeping you connected to the improvements of your sponsorship.

This child sponsorship program is not only about funding but also about showing love and support to these children that have been forgotten by society. You will be able to write letters to your child on a periodic basis and they will know your name, pray for you and write to you occasionally.

House of Hope – Kenya offers a loving, Christian environment where 72 children receive nutritious food, clean water, clothing, shelter, education, vocational training, medical care and spiritual development.  SERV also provides a transitional program for teens aging out of the program and supports them through high school, trade school, college or support in beginning their career.

We are investing in these children to one day leave the House of Hope, become leaders in their villages and impact future generations!

A full sponsorship allows SERV to cover all of the child’s expenses at the House of Hope.

A full child sponsorship is $385 monthly but you can share in a sponsorship for as little as $55 per month.
